I wanted to collaborate with you to create a soundtrack for people who needed to focus, feel, grieve, think, muse, be inspired, relax, contemplate, or just have white noise.

One thing that I’ve encountered in talking to people like us (leaders, influencers, preachers, artists, writers, etc.) is that there’s a lot going on in their head. Quiet helps, but sometimes silence doesn’t. I wanted to create something that led to quiet. To solitude.

I want to create SUITES which would be soft cinematic/soundtrack arrangements of my original pieces.

The suite that I would love to work with you on is the MEPHIBOSHETH SUITE.

THE STORY OF MEPHIBOSHETH

I didn’t understand how complex and rich the story of Mephibosheth was until after I re-wrote it. One of the biggest things (as far as this piece of work is concerned) is the truth of belonging. Because of the finished work of Jesus Christ via his miraculous virgin birth, life, death, and resurrection we are reconciled back to the Father and thus invited to have a seat at His table. We don’t have to work or pay to get VIP, that was already done by Jesus, the only thing we have to do is accept the invitation and show up. For so many people that have a default to rejection, to hustle for acceptance, and who are just frankly burnt out; that’s good news. It’s more than being accepted (even though there is an element to that), you are invited to have a seat at The King’s table.

I pray that this helps cast some vision on what’s been in my brain for years! Let me know what you think (and if any of this makes sense).
