Mars Coleman understands that part of his calling is to connect musical genres, theological perspectives, and resources that all point to God, whether through partnerships with various Ministries or the publication of his own work. With the intention of bringing people closer to God, Coleman strives to lead listeners by providing words of inspiration, motivation, and scripture.

His parents, who had a passion for music, brought him up in a Southern California Pentecostal Church (COGIC), and welcomed exploration outside of Gospel music.  Because of his musical preferences, Mars became aware of how much God speaks to all people in music. His ambition to serve as a cultural link for Christian music was sparked by his appreciation for Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, and Donnie McClurkin.

Mars Coleman's solo career began with the publication of his first song, "Guide," in 2017. He also earned two features and a songwriting credit with J. Lee The Producer that same year (Inspire Me). The soul-stirring melody and thought-provoking lyrics of the song "Guide" prepared the way for a series of breathtaking releases, an impressive collection of six songs.
